Anyone who wants to prepare any things to do list while traveling to Victoria in British Columbia must have the Royal BC Museum right on top. The more than a century old museum is never to be missed for anyone heading to Victoria. The photography exhibits, the BC archives, Helmcken House, First Nations exhibits, there is so much in this place that a day may be less than what you would need here.

If you like some lush green landscape, pathways to cycle or jog with your pets, let the kids be themselves, some duck ponds and flower beds then Beacon Hill Park would certainly be the next place to visit. It is right in the city center area, about a mile away, and a great place to relax and rejuvenate.

Bird watching, estuaries and wildlife does not get better in this part of the world than an experience at the Goldstream Provincial Park. Irrespective of the season you choose to travel to Victoria, the National wildlife reserve would have something unique to offer you.

Take a ferry ride or go for some kayaking, take a stroll down the pathway or simply sit and laze around at the Inner Harbor. There is a market nearby which is also a popular tourist attraction. And if you want to have an even better view and witness scenic beauty than the Inner Harbor then the Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse is where you need to be. Before you decide to head to this historic site, be sure to carry your DSLR or a Smartphone with a great camera, you would not want to miss going clicking while at this amazing place.

Take a guided tour at the Parliament Buildings so that you do not miss out on some of the most interesting and intriguing aspects of history. Victoria Bug Zoo can be a great place for kids and especially those who love those tiny little animals and insects. It is also in the heart of downtown hence you would have no trouble getting there.

For all those adventure enthusiasts, West Coast Trail and Scenic Marine Route are the places to visit for sure. They have some of the most serene views and the hiking experience can be amazing. There is a lot of history all around as well and the way all of it has been preserved is praiseworthy. Take a drive down the Scenic Marine Route or go jogging, the experience is enriching in more ways than one.
