Interview With Chrissy Albice From Chrissy Travels

Today’s interview is with Chrissy Albice from Chrissy Travels!

1.        What is your name, where are you from and where have you been in this world?

My name is Chrissy Albice. I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but lived in Los Angeles for many years. I have been to 40 countries to date on 6 continents.

2.        What is your blog address? How long have you been blogging and what is the main focus of it?

The blog is Chrissy Travels and I have been blogging for two years since the day I ran away from home. It allows readers to follow where I am and to experience things as I experience them. They can read about my favorite foods, beauty and health secrets I find and my romances around the world. I also give reviews on hotels and restaurants around the world.

3.        Besides the basic essentials, what is something you simply could not live without on the road?

My computer!

4.        How has travel enriched your life?

It has changed the core of my being. I was very unhappy in my life in Los Angeles. I decided to make a change in my life and follow my bliss. I had always dreamed of cashing out and running away. I guess you could say I am living my dream.

5.        Of all the cities you have ever visited, which 3 left the largest impression on you and why?

Of 137 stops in 27 countries in the last two years, Mykonos, Greece is my #1 favorite stop. I call it my happy place. There is never a shortage of goods times and happy memories for me in Mykonos.

(http://www.chrissytravels.com/2011/08/12/mykonos-greece/) I also loved Prague, Czech Republic for its enigmatic charm and beauty (http://www.chrissytravels.com/2010/09/21/i-left-my-heart-in-prague/) and Siem Reap, Cambodia for its eye-opening capture of a third world culture (http://www.chrissytravels.com/2010/11/30/siem-reap-cambodia-and-the-smiling-mom/)

6.        If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be?

I would be myself really rich!

7.        In a perfect world, where do you see yourself and your blog in 5 years?

I will still be traveling and making a good living at it, but I will have an actual home base someplace where I can store my things properly. My blog will be one of the top ranked blogs with an impressive list of destinations to read about.

8.        If you had 1 travel tip to share with the world, what would it be?

Be flexible!

9.        What stands out as your best and worst travel memory?

Anytime I am in Mykonos, Greece I am able to create amazing travel memories. It never fails.

The worst was while I was in a Berlin subway late at night being harassed by a vagrant in German. I was alone and it was very scary.

10.        Please list 3 of your most popular blog posts?
