Europe has a bit of everything to offer. Many people associate Europe with harsh winters and Victorian era architecture but there are Mediterranean beaches and state of the art cities as well. Some consider most European cities and countries to be overly indulgent with art & culture but there amazingly cool festivals and events as well. Europe has everything that you may want on your holiday. All you have to do is make the right plan, at the right place and at the right time.

There are hundreds of places you can go to on cheap flights in 2013 in Europe and thousands of things to do. Here is a list of just 5 European experiences for your bucket-list.

The Volvo Snowbombing festival in Austria which is typically held in the first to second weeks of April is one of the best experiences you can have in Europe. The Christmas markets in Germany are amazing. In one week I went to the markets in Wiesbaden, Darmstadt, Cologne, and Strasbourg. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think it was Cologne!
